my interpretation

Hopefully the tutors will like this style too. i find it really appealing i think the corporate colours really pop when used with white text.

Classic

The keep calm posters are absolute classic and now there has been a revival of them with hundreds of variations. I wouldn't even use the keep calm slogan but the layout itself would work perfectly.

Macmillan inspiration

so started to jot down a few ideas but couldn't really visualize anything. Started to look at how charities advertise themselves, as in what message do they try to convey to the target audience. The one i like the most would definately be Macmillan as the charity really has a personal feel to it. The font, (which was made specially for them), when used on the main titles etc, makes it seem like  quote, so more personal.

The big chunky type gives off a personal feel, its so informal and thats a brilliant vibe to get from this seen as Macmillan want to be allowed into your lives to help in anyway that they can.

The Electric works in sheffield has a similar theme in that you can rent office space and even rent virtual space in the office!

So.....

So 'the Workshop' have set us a brief and the general idea is that we pick one of the projects that the charity 'Silent Cities' has done and design the work for it.

Out of all of them i think i'm going to do the 'creative spaces' project.

The target audience is creative startups/new social enterprises who are losing their mind while they try and work at home.
